Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is a small volume of plasma containing higher concentrations of platelets.

How does the PRP procedure work?
-
The process begins with a simple blood draw of 30-60 ml from your arm.
-
The blood is placed in a centrifuge. The centrifuge spins and separates the platelets from the rest of the blood components.
-
A syringe is used to selectively extract the layer that is highest in platelets and growth factors.
-
The PRP extract is injected into the scalp via micro injections. This allows the platelets to be delivered directly and efficiently to where they are needed.
